The MR Advanced Application Class is for the MR technologist utilizing Siemens MAGNETOM® MR 1.5T and 3T systems. Through the use of demonstrations, lecture, and hands-on scanning, participants are provided with a review on key influences of MR Image Quality parameters and optimization. Participants will be introduced to applications and optimization tips for Neuro, Spine, Body, Musculoskeletal, Angiography, and Breast imaging. Additional topics discussed include fat suppression techniques, BLADE, diffusion imaging, Integrated Parallel Imaging Technique (iPAT), artifacts and basic trouble shooting techniques.
